Where to stay

a placeto sleep.

We have not held rooms anywhere. These are simply the places we would look at ourselves, and you usually book directly with the owner.

  • Book early. These are small properties in a village people come to on purpose, and late May fills up fast.
  • You will want a car. The roads out here are narrow, and there is no public transport worth the wait.
  • A gîte is a whole house, typically rented by the week and self-catering. A chambre d’hôtes is a room in someone’s home, breakfast included.
  • Prices are indicative and always shown with their unit. Confirm the figure with the owner when you book.

In Tour-de-Faure

In the Lot valley below Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, where Benoît's family lives, about twenty-five minutes away.

If all of this is booked, the Gîtes de France Lot site lists far more of the area than we have here.
