It began in a coffee shop in a tiny town in Georgia. The traffic was unreasonable, the coffee was good, and neither of us was in a particular hurry to leave. We talked for hours about past, present, and future.

A few years later, on a serene lake in Norway after a long climb, one of us asked the question and the other said yes before it was quite finished.

Between the coffee shop and the lake came a thousand small things — pizza and cocktails, early flights, a dog with opinions, pilates and marathons. On May 29th 2027, we're inviting our closest friends and family to the beautiful French countryside to celebrate our wedding. We chose the Lot because it sits at the natural midpoint between the United States, France, and South Africa.
